Hosted by Nottingham Trent University at their East London Campus, Unwritten sits between an intimate Writers’ Round and a casual open mic. With a core focus on original songwriting and the creative process, Unwritten and NTU provide a spacious, low-pressure environment to showcase new material, connect with fellow creatives, or simply grab a drink with friends. It is a judgment-free space designed to welcome both emerging artists taking their first steps and established songwriters refining their craft.

You bring the music; we handle the rest. NTU’s London venue features a high-spec performance space equipped with full backline, professional lighting, and top-tier PA. Dedicated NTU engineers are on hand all evening so you can focus entirely on your performance without any technical stress. Beyond the stage, it’s a community built for real-world connections, a place where everyone in the room is just one conversation away from meeting their next collaborator.
